[ Other Games ] - [ Stargate Worlds ] - Developer CME Files For Bankruptcy

http://www.judgingtruth.com/images/Stargate-Worlds.jpgSome big news came out of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, the developers of the highly anticipated but financially plagued Stargate Worlds (an MMORPG set in the Stargate universe), as FireSky, the publishers for SGW, have officially confirmed that CME has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Now, while there have been some fairly big shakeups in the company as a result of the filing, fans may or may not be happy to hear that the bankruptcy filing does not mean that CME will have to give up their development rights on this popular title.

On the 22nd of January, 2010 Calthine and Kain were privileged to be invited on the EverQuest II Beta Tour for the new Sentinel's Fate expansion. Global Agenda, ZAM's "Best in Show" pick in last year's PAX Awards, is almost here! In anticipation of its February 1st release (as well as ZAM's upcoming preview, which you can expect any day now), we're devoting this installment of "What We Know So Far" to Hi-Rez Studios' ambitious third-person shooter. [ Other Games ] - Kung Foo Will Poke Fun at Other MMOs


Have you ever wanted to play an MMO that pokes fun at the genre and focuses more on humor than swords or superheroes? Well, you may want to keep an eye out for Kung Foo, Perfect World Entertainment's upcoming game that "has no qualms in making fun of other MMOs, taking their lunch money and then dating their sister."

PWI hasn't released much information yet about the game, but you can currently sign up for e-mail updates on the teaser site. The first letter explains that the meaning of life is bunnies and reveals that beta invites will be sent out to players who ask "pretty please with a cherry on top." You can grab it immediately from Perfect World Entertainment, Steam, GamersGate, Encore, Gameware.at, WildTangent and Direct2Drive. Judging from my time with the game so far, I'd say you probably should (buy it, that is) verging on an enthusiastic "definitely."
