Site Won't Load

Obviously I am posting this, which means I can access the site, but only on my laptop or phone. I can't get it to load at all on my PC. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and *shudder* IE. I've cleared my cookies and cache. Nothing has worked so far. I know it's been at least a day. I thought maybe it was just me, but Andway said she can't access the site either, and I know Herc was having problems earlier (don't know if they've been resolved or not). Those are just the people I happen to know about--of course if others can't get on they probably can't let us know very easily.

Zodiac and Herc were both saying this over the weekend in vent. Zodiac got it to work on his wife's laptop, but I know Herc had problems late Sunday night.

Mine seems to be IP specific...

If I use a different Internet IP connection it works normally.

I am having the same issue. On all of the computers in my house the site wont load or connect, but I can on my phone. I double checked my end, opening all my browsers, resetting my router, things like that. Hope we can figure this out soon! It took me ten minutes to type this out on my phone. :p

I am getting this as well. I can't connect at home from any of my PC's or my tablet (wi-fi only) but I can get here fine from my work PC.

I posted this elsewhere on the Forums, and then found this. instead of waiting for this to be moved, I am posting again, as I believe that this is pertinent.

I have been trying to access the HFC forrums since Sat, and from Home I am unable to access them. If I connect to my office via VPN i am able to access them.

I tried the same trace from Home and it Dies at 10 36 ms 37 ms 36 ms vl37.dsw3.chi2.wiredtree.com [173.199.135.226] This would suggest a routing issue, but I am not sure if anything can be done about it. Interesting foot note, my Brother live in a different part of the Cox network, and he is able to access the site.

Anyone else having issues accessing the site? If so, I would be curious as to what your Tracert looks like.

I'm now having trouble getting the site to load on my laptop and can't paste in my results from my phone, but my tracert dies at the same place: 173.199.135.230--on both the PC and the laptop now. So sad!

Thank you for this report. We're having a look at the issues now.

It seems the chat feature was setting off some of our security filters, and banning ip's. (no fault of our members). Hopefully the issues will be resolved for most, if not all of our users having trouble.

Let us know if you continue to have issues, or behavior different from the norm.
