Holy cow that is super cool! That's something I always wished for in WoW. I wanted that little campsite on top of the waterfalls in Feralas as a retirement home, LOL. This sounds really exciting. I only hope when they say they want it as accessible as possible that it is indeed accessible (not 100 plat).

Cool. I hope the housing items will be crafted, not just world drops/bought. We need more variety for crafters!!

Good grief, y'all are making things hard for me. I know I'll be concentrating on GW2, but I've also tried TOR and really like it ... I'm afraid to DL Rift cuz I'm afraid I'll really like that game too. This housing idea looks very promising - and I agree Ziboo, I like being able to have special items that are craft-only, in addition to the other.

They did briefly mention something about some items for Dimensions being crafted. Personally I'd love to see a Woodworker profession that lets you make furniture. I miss that from EQ2.

awsomeness. The item manipulation does look similiar to EQ2's, though better/easier here. And yes I agree an new craft proffesion for making furnatuire would be great. Oh I wonder if all those books that we collect we will be able to place in in our personal library. Books were already great in eq2, made great wall and dividers, and the best part was they didn't count toward the item limit in the house hehe.

I've never seen a game to equal EQ2 in the housing/decoration etc. realm
