I had great fun playing this weekend! I didn't see much as far as guild chat goes. Are you guys using vent/mumble mostly? I ask because I keep hearing on the forums how much fun everyone in the guild is having and how much community there is and such...but I don't see much chat going on in game. LOL

I know it's a stupid question but I'm sincerely curious. I like to be sociable as much as the next guy.

I noticed that about a half-dozen guildies weren't on Eternal Grove. Can they still see typed guild chat? (This doesn't apply to you, Constara, but I was curious.)

EDIT: Dumb question. Just remembered that I chatted with Averna when she was on a different server.

There seems to be an issue with people, myself included, wanting to hit the F key all the time in other games now, like Rift for example ...

Not me, I hit enter, even in GW2... F begins Chat.... ;-P

Yes, Yes, and we can Visit EG too, just can't PvP with them.... ;-P (though with the bug we might fight against them and see them on the map.... hee hee)

... my thoughts on skill progression, let me know what you think please....

How about THIS progression:


Level 1 = 5 skills to unlock the next tier,
Level 2 = 4 skills to unlock the next tier,
Level 3 = 3 skills to unlock the next tier, and so on as you expand the pool...


???? Because that gives more flexibility to the player builds BUT still forces some sort of framework... ????

You can also make a new character and join the guild without an invite. Just open the guild tab, click represent when you have Hammerfist selected. Looked as though that allowed you to multiguild..... weird.

The game does have multiguilding, though a person can only represent one at a time (earning influence for and interacting with that guild). However, it is still against HFC's CoC.

Oh, and I think the guesting thing is disabled during beta. At least, I think I got a message to that effect. Or maybe it just wouldn't let me guest on EG because it was full. Can't remember. But since most people were grouping up for WvW, it wouldn't have done any good anyway.
