Personally, as i was listening, i was thinking...these guys are just being lazy!! A free level 80?! You have got to be kidding! I would have much prefered to have them do some sort of level matching/mentoring system instead of a free level 80! Bleh! Although, the spectral mount for bringing back a freind is kinda cool.

Rofl! Posted the same thing! I know definitely interesting in a desperate way. Did it say how long someone had to not play, to get resurrected? It use to be 3 months I think.

Just wait the patch is coming where everyone will have one spell that heals, tanks, and dps based on who/what you are fighting. The made the game way to easy and killed it by trying to class balance for PvP.

Ok, I'm giving this thread a scroll of resurrection! :P Also, I'd be pretty grateful if someone would send me one for my account (haven't been subbed since Feb 2011). Preferably someone who is on our team's server and hasn't received benefits for this yet (out of all fairness).

I'd like to log back into the game during the free 7 days, say hi to the clan team, and check out that free 80 I get. I probably won't be subbing in the near future with GW2, so don't hold your breath for that mount and game time. ;)

Thanks Elissor! Well, I'm fighting with Blizzard right now to get the authenticator removed so I can log into my account again. /sigh My maiden name is on the account, so my ID doesn't match. I have old and new digital downloads for the game, all of which are stored in the account and were emailed to an old email I no longer have. The credit card I have on file no longer exists, so I don't know the last 4 digits... lol. So once I get the desire to sit on hold 40 minutes again I'll have another long chat with them and hopefully get account access again. -_o

As odd as it sounds, you can fax or scan & e-mail them a marriage certificate and they should be able to connect the dots. Either way it works out I'm sure you'll get access back shortly.

Not as simple for me unfortunately. Beyond that, sending a company like Blizzard so much personal info/documents makes me uncomfortable.

Not a high priority to get this done since I don't plan on coming back anytime soon, just annoying that they're being so difficult to let me back into my account.

Then just create a new account and play free up to level 20 or whatever is it. Or, with the RAF options, you can get a free 80 out of the deal. I'd look into those if your old account is proving too troublesome.
