EA and Funcom have announced new pre-order and beta details for their upcoming MMO ‘The Secret World’. You can check out the latest video and pre-order details below.
The announcement came via press-release sent out earlier this morning

More creepy-crawlies are emerging from the shadows to join the ranks of Funcom's upcoming horror-inspired title, The Secret World. The studio revealed today three new creatures that players will face in-game: the Bogeyman, Jack O'Lantern, and the mud golem. The first of the three, the Bogeyman, should be familiar to anyone who was once a child (if any of you weren't, please let us know).

Fans of massively multiplayer online role-playing games are familiar with the act of level grinding. Non-fans are familiar with grinding too, though not in a favorable way. Those tedious but necessary hours of building up a character through the mass slaughter of in-game wildlife is quite often the reason why the genre's critics turn their backs on World of Warcraft and its ilk.
